	Sign-In  Register            LDEs Leadership Development Events (LDEs) are contests held in the fall semester. These events focus on public speaking skills and abilities, knowledge of the FFA, use of effective communication skills, and the ability to showcase and reinforce what is being taught in the agricultural science classroom. All LDE contests will have various elimination levels. The first level of competition for the Anahuac FFA Chapter is the district level contest for the Ricebelt District. Top teams will advance to the Area IX competition, and the top 2 teams in each contest at the area level will advance to the state contest. Winners of the state LDE contest will have the opportunity to compete at the National FFA contest the following year.
